Kia ora e te whanau, Just a quick reminder about our upcoming AGM: it's scheduled for the day after the cemetery cleaning. You can come home for the Saturday cemetery cleaning and then join us on Sunday for the AGM. Kia ora e te whanau Wharenui Opening weekend programme 7th August to 9th August 2026 If we have a lot of whanau on Friday evening we have booked a second marae for overflow accomodation. Nau mai haere mai e te whanau Please arrive before 5.00am meet just inside the gate. If you are traveling past the marae please slow down as it will be dark and we are expecting a few whanau. Our main kaupapa for the day is opening our wharenui at 5.00am all other times are estimates only and

This event is the week before our Wharenui opening and will help us tidy up and prepare the marae grounds and buildings, ensuring everything is welcoming and ready for the celebrations ahead for the long awaited opening of our Wharenui on the 08.08.2026. This blog post is a reminder and an invitation to all members of our whanau. Your hands and hearts are needed to make this mahi a success

Kia ora e te whanau We are having a Working Bee this weekend at the marae. Our goal is to paint our Wharenui and tidy up the gardens. Painting our Wharenui is one of the key pieces of mahi that needs to be completed to open our Wharenui. Bring your paint gears like rollers, brushes, spray guns as well as hammers and nail punches. We also need waterblasters and weedeaters. Accommodation is available at the marae but please byo linen. Any questions let us know Nga mihi Puketawa
